Fitting a smaller sink in a secondary bathroom, Private House South London

Project:
The owners wanted more room in the secondary bathroom. They decided to remove the old sink and asked me to source and install a smaller more modern sink in keeping with the rest of the bathroom.

I matched the main bathroom fittings and sourced the same taps.

Duration:
3 Days including tiling and making good.

Interesting Point:
Whenever I work with plumbing I tend to re-visit the job a few weeks later to make sure everything is still perfect and the new tiles are settling in with the old tiles.

Some times I even age the new grouting to match the old grouting so that the new elements fit in well with the old elements.

Front Door Lock Replacement, Private Flat Central London

Project:
The new owner wanted to change the locks on the day he moved in. He had purchased the lock and security chain.

Duration:
3 hours

Interesting Point:
I noticed the door hinges were missing several screws. I added these making the door more secure.
I had the relevant screws from a previous project and therefore did not charge the client for the additional
work.

Hanging Pictures, Building Flat Pack Furniture and Painting. Private House Hertfordshire

Project:
Several pictures to be hung. One wall had several pictures which needed to be lined up and balanced along the wall.

Audio Visual Furniture and Book Shelf. Put together from flat pack. I also collected the units for the client.

The client also wanted the room touched up. Good quality white emulsion paint was used.

Duration:
1 day

Interesting Point:
Furniture was picked up mid week thus saving time and not having to deal with the weekend crush at the store.

Tiling Private House North London

Project:
Tiling for a bathroom wall and floor.

Duration:
3 days including cleaning.

Interesting points:
Wall tiles are different thicknesses and make it difficult to finish a row and make corners look neat.
